Watch My Guts is an installation comprising two lightboxes and a fragment of text by Miranda July. Presented within Residential M, a temporary artistic project occupying a former palace in Porto’s Praça da Batalha, the work brings together photographic images and a literary fragment to create a space of intimate exposure.
The title suggests an invitation to look beneath the surface — at what is hidden, vulnerable or difficult to articulate. Through the tension between the illuminated images and July’s text, the installation explores the relationship between interiority and visibility, turning the exhibition space into a place of psychological and emotional encounter.
